Theme Parks
Universal Studios Florida, the resort’s first theme park, established on 7th June 1990, is a place where guests could “Ride the Movies.” Theme attractions and sections related to the film business make up the park. Visitors can enjoy themed shopping and dining, as well as numerous events throughout the journey, and watch a glimpse of a working film team on the backlot.
Universal’s Adventure in Islands, which was established on 28th May 1999, was the resort’s second park. It is made up of eight different “islands” and each one is focused on a different type of adventure. Visitors begin at the Entry of the port and travel through the numerous islands — Toon Lagoon, Marvel Super Hero Island, Skull Island, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, Jurassic Park, Seuss Landing, and the Lost Continent, – before arriving at the Port of Entry. The only islands added since the park opened are Skull Island, about the King Kong 2005 film; Hogsmeade revealed to the theatre on 18th June 2010, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, about the popular Harry Potter franchise, and Skull Island released on 13th July 2016.
Volcano Bay is up to a 27-acre marine water park with a volcano theme that debuted in early 2017. It took the place of Universal’s Wet ‘n Wild. It is one of the first major water parks, was constructed by SeaWorld founder George Millay in 1977. Wet ‘n Wild was taken by Universal Parks & Resorts in 1998, and it became the best part of Universal Orlando. The water park has eighteen blue water rides and activities. The Bomb Bay, Storm, Disco H2O, the Surge, and Mach 5 were all popular attractions.
